ABOUT WRITING ON WEDNESDAYS

I am one person who really enjoys impromptu inking sessions,  I think my love for it stems from the fact that I've received two awards from impromptu writing competitions.
This makes me look forward to Wednesdays when @AfroBloggers will drop a prompt and call out African writers to write instantly about any picture he shares for the day. It's always a thrilling moment when we get to savour the sweetness of poetry from various shades of creativity and the fun it comes with.
There are times when I feel so lazy to write but once it's Wednesday, I try to pick up my pen and scribble some lines. Here's the latest. I wrote two actually... Which do you prefer?

FORMERLY USELESS

FORMERLY USELESS In this journey of life, we get to hear about or meet people who are being considered as bad examples. She lived a life without sense of purpose till the day she was led to Jesus and her life experienced a turn around for good. You may be in a situation where people have looked at your life and termed you 'useless'. The good news is that even though you are a cultist, a thief, a fornicator, an adulterer or the likes, Jesus is ready to change your story. Onesimus was reintroduced to Philemon, his slave master urging him to take him back stating that ''Formerly he was useless to you but now he has become usef...

THINK OF THIS

How good is a house if its not a home How good is a tree if it bears no fruits How good is a garden if it has no flowers How good is a clock if it cant tell the time How good is are friends if they cant care and share How good are eyes if they cant be used for sight How good are ears if they cant be used for hearing How good is a nose that cant be used for breathing How good are legs if they cant be used for locomotion How good is a mirror that cant reflect images How good is a phone that cant be used for calls How good is a heart that cant pump blood How good is a book that cant be read How good is a youth without a dream and How good if your life if you are not living for Christ Remember a life without Christ is a life in crisis written by Alice Asuquo
