       So this amazing radio (Radio Nigeria, 99.5 fM Calabar) decided to grant me an interview on their program tagged 'RISING STAR' yesterday. So sorry I didn't announce it here.... I was the star guest (blogger) and I really had fun. Special thanks to the presenters; Kelly Egiga and Julian Agorye...... You guys rock and to those who tuned it.... There is a special kind of happiness that comes when you step into a new year. The happiness even increases when you know that you have a God who is always by your side. Since this is my first post for the year, I dedicate this poem to you and to me because its my birthday........ HE WILL STILL BE THERE When the storms of life blew He was there When the ocean billowed He was there The floods came rushing in And the rivers overflowed their banks God was there Through the thick and the thin Even the highs and the lows God was still there Yesterday, today and always He remains the same He was there, He is still there And I know, even in the years ahead.....   Wow! Christmas is here again. December 25th is a day set aside by Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Here is a poem dedicated to you as you celebrate this special season.... Darkness and gloom filled the earth Surrounded by the valley of the shadow of death Until love was born... Love so refreshing Love so divine Wiping our sins away And giving us a brand new name.  Dear readers, I know its been a while. So sorry for the long silence, it has been a busy year. how has the year been?  I have decided to share this lovely poem written by my friend..... AS TIME FLIES  As seconds kiss minutes, Days dance with the sun, We dance with time, And it slips out off our hands. As time flies by, We look into the mirror And changes kiss us in the face, As months marry years, Can we smile at the things we have done When the memories come flooding in, Like waves in the sea, Will tears of regret Of things said and undone Kiss our hearts. As time flies by, What will be our story? What will be our song? Just one minute can determine So much about our destiny Our vision is to redeem desolations Through the year, what value guided our lives? Did we build the kingdom or we drove people away?As time flies by, Did we strive for peace in our homes? What testimony do we have in Heaven? Mfoniso Urua

As each day passes She looks at the calendar, thinking. . . The fear of the unknown grips her And reality stares her in the face Like a melting candle Hope diminishes within her Yes she tries to be strong For the night may be too long Feels like she has come to the end of her And life gradually becoming a memory The battle with cancer has been tough Its the pain that bites her within. . . ( Always take out time to pray for your friends and family members and don't  laugh at people because you may not know the battles they fight within)                                                                                                                            ...

**** Someday you'll really be grateful that God gave you what you needed, instead of what you wanted. *** Smiling is a universal language which bridges gaps and breaks down boundaries. *** Don't give up on your talent, nothing can dim the light which shines from within. *** Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle and the light of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. *** God has something for you; a solution to every problem, a light for every shadow, a relief to every sorrow and a plan for every tomorrow. *** A rift in a friendship is like a tear in a garment - both can be mended. *** Everything you wet through had a purpose to build you into a better person. If it wasn't a blessing, it was a lesson. I find these thoughts amazing. Hope you did too. They are thoughts of various people and i felt it's necessary to share. Thanks for reading!

Dear friends, How are you doing and how has the year been? yes i know its been filled with sweet and bitter experiences but you are alive so there is something to thank God for. Today, i want to share some vital questions we need to ask ourselves in order to make our today better than yesterday and our tomorrow better than today. There are numerous questions but lets consider these ten(10). 1. What areas in my life am I growing in? 2. Are there areas where I can use some help? 3. Are there people I need to thank in my life? 4. Are there people I need to forgive in my life? 5. Are there people I need to do away with? 6. Are there investments I need to make? 7. Are there people I need to associate with? 8. Are there books I need to read? 9. Do I have a picture of my tomorrow? 10. What scripture is my life based on? If you can answer these questions sincerely and apply positive solutions to them, then you will see things working well for you. You can add more of...
