JUST FOR YOUR SAKE

He lived a life so sinless and spotless
Yet He died for the sins of the world
Though He had the power to resist death
Accepted to die for all

His crown, He exchanged for thorns
His fame was exchanged for shame
His throne, He left for the tomb
His precious life, He gave up on the cross

Like a plant growing on dry ground
He had no beauty to be desired
From Him they hid their faces
But for your transgressions, He was wounded
For your iniquities, He was bruised
Like a lamb brought to the slaughter
And a sheep taken to her shearers
He openeth  not His mouth

Friends denied Him
His father forsook Him
A companion betrayed Him
And enemies killed Him
JUST FOR YOUR SAKE

(Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends... Jn. 15:13)

Happy Easter!!!

Dreams

Myriad of thoughts Running through your mind A dream of a beautiful and colourful future An irony of the present bleak and black situation Is it feasible or attainable? You ponder and wonder Just because you can't see something Doesn't mean it isn't there Keep your dreams alive!!  ~Alice Asuquo

Fire + Ice

Fire+Ice Some are hot like fire;  Sweltering, tangy, hot and spicy Some are cold as ice; Numbing, frosty, cool and chilly Everyone can't be the same Howbeit, with tolerance and understanding We'll stay together in peace and love ~Alice Asuquo
